Hard working B. Gordiano has, over years, been operating a cattle fattening farm in Mpundo, Ibanda. He sells cows to earn a living, from the periodic markets that take place around the area in western Uganda. In this business he directly purchases the livestock and then raises them for some time on his farm. When the livestock is ready for market, he supplies to butchers, hotels and other customers in the periodic market.

His main drawback in the course of doing this business has been the unstable price on the market and low capital input. With hard work and efficient customer care skills, he has managed to keep his business going for over 10 years. In a month, he makes profits in the neighborhood of 250,000 Ugandan shillings.

His future plans are to fully expand the transactions and to do farm restocking, which will earn him more revenue to pay for his children’s education requirements. With this loan, he anticipates great strides in achieving this dream and restocking more cattle heads for sale.
