Akber lives in a small city called Borewala which is located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. She has been living in this city with her family for over 20 years. She is 41 years old, a housewife and makes artificial flowers in her spare time to facilitate her husband financially. Her husband is involved in the spice selling business. He sells spices and also provides the services of blending spices for his customers by using a blender machine. Most of his customers come to him for blending their spices. He has been doing this work for over fifteen years.

Now his eldest son has also started this same business to help his family financially. He left his education after10th grade and started this business because his family needed his financial support. Akber’s youngest son is in sixth grade. She wants him to complete his education and become a doctor.
