Frida
View original language description ↓
Frida M., the mother of two children and a widow, belongs to the loan group Joyitas de Oro in Villa Tejada. She is an expert at knitting woolen articles, such as caps, shawls, and others. She has been doing this since she was 15 years old, learning the tradition from her parents and continuing the tradition. Frida takes her products to the city of Cochabamba, where she has a sure market. She also sells them on them on Garcilazo de la Vega Street in the city of La Paz, which is traditionally a commercial street, and also in the 16 de Julio Market. Since she works alone, Frida produces and sells at wholesale, at a minimum of a dozen. Frida lacks the money to increase her production, satisfy existing demand, and increase the variety of her products. She would like to do this to sell at the end of the year.
