The bank is composed of 10 members and is located in El Agustino, department of Lima. All the members carry out activities relating to commerce and services.

Silvia has bought and sold seasonal clothing in the streets for the last 6 months. She began because her family encouraged and helped her to start her small business. By means of her work alone, she saved the little that she earned to be able to invest in her business. Silvia's grand dream is to have a business selling underwear and jewelry.

This recent loan will be used to construct her house. All the participants in the communal bank are very content and grateful for the help they are offered. (The children in the photo belong to the members.)
