John S. is 40 years old and lives in the town of Luwero in the Luwero region of Uganda. He is married and has 3 children who are in school. John has a general store, which he has run for 3 years.
To help expand his business, John is requesting a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to increase shop inventory. John hopes that the loan will help him by allowing him to expand the retail shop and get more sales. In the future, John hopes to open other branches of the retail shop.
