Rachel is 40 years old and is married to an accountant. She is blessed with four children: Andrew 19, Clarence 15, Charles 10 and Maxwell 2.
Rachel has been operating a retail shop for seven months. In her business, she has employed one person.
Rachel is a member of Stima group in Faulu Kenya whose members guarantee each other’s loans. She has previously managed to take out a loan of 20,000 KES to add to her stock.
Rachel has requested a loan of 40,000 KES to add to her stock of sugar, wheat flour, soda and maize flour. She hopes to open a supermarket in the future.
