The Sope Serigne TouB. solidarity group was established six months ago. It is made up of 24 women who come from the same village. These women have grown close from an early age and formed the group as friends or neighbors. The solidarity group is part of the Banc Villageois in Boffel.

Mrs. Fama S., who is standing at the right of the photo is in charge of the group. She is 48 years old and is mother to four children in her care; she also takes care of her granddaughter.

She has a sheep fattening activity and has been carrying out this business for around ten years.

Her new loan will allow her to buy three sheep and food for the livestock. She will fatten up the sheep for five months before selling them in the weekly markets in her town.

Her goal is to provide for her personal needs, to contribute to an improvement in her family's living conditions and to build up a healthy level of savings.

Le groupe de solidarité SOPE SERIGNE TOUB. est créé depuis 6 mois. Il est composé de 24 femmes issues du même village. Ce sont des femmes qui ont évolué depuis leur jeune âge. C’est ainsi qu’elles ont formé leur groupe par voisinage et par affinité. Le groupe de solidarité fait partie du Banc Villageois de BOFFEL

Madame FAMA S. debout à droite sur la photo est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 48 ans. Elle est mère de 4 enfants en charge, elle a aussi la charge de sa petite fille.

Elle fait de l’embouche ovine. Elle pratique cette activité depuis une décennie.

Son nouveau prêt lui permettra d’acheter 3 mouton et de l’aliment de bétail. Elle va les engraisser pendant 5 mois avant de les vendre dans les marchés hebdomadaires de sa localité.

Son objectif est de subvenir à ses besoins personnels, de participer à l’amélioration des conditions de vie de sa famille et de constituer une bonne épargne.
