The group "Pankaritas" has ten members, nine women and one man, and this is their second cycle with the Collpani community bank. Its president is Ms. Arminda M. V., 44, who is married and the mother of five children.

Arminda has been making crafts of alpaca wool, especially blankets of all colors, for the last 18 years. She came to Kiva partner Pro Mujer after seeing some marketing materials from the organization. She will use the loan to buy a knitting machine and some wool. She buys her materials from the city of La Paz. When asked what she loves most about Pro Mujer, Arminda says she likes meeting with the other members, and learning about how to stay healthy.

La Asociación Comunal “PANKARITAS” está conformada por diez personas, nueve mujeres y un varón, este es su ciclo Nº2. La asociación es parte del centro focal de Collpani, la presidenta es la señora Arminda M. V..

La señora Arminda M. V., socia de 44 años de edad, casada, madre de 5 niños, actualmente tiene como negocio la elaboración de artesanías en lana de alpaca, en particular mantas de diferentes colores. Lleva adelante esta actividad desde hace 18 años.

Ingresó a Pro Mujer por que recibió la promoción de nuestra institución de parte del personal de la institución. El crédito le servirá para la compra de una máquina de tejer y lana. Compra los insumos de la ciudad de La Paz, en la calle Max Paredes.

Conversando con la presidenta comenta le gusta de Pro Mujer la reunión con las señoras y la capacitación en salud.

En cuanto a la asociación comunal, tienen diferentes tipos de negocios de servicio y comercio.
