Le couple a quatre enfants qui sont tous scolarisés. Josiane Clarisse vit ensemble avec son mari et ses enfants. Pour venir en aide à son mari dans les diverses charges du ménage, Josiane Clarisse vend du charbon de bois et de façon secondaire, de l'huile d'arachide à son domicile. Josiane Clarisse a déjà bénéficié de deux crédits qui ont été tous bien remboursés. Dans le but d'élever le niveau de son activité et de mieux répondre à la demande de sa clientèle, Josiane Clarisse sollicite auprès de ALIDé, un troisième prêt.
