Juntos Para El Exito Group
Group president, Mónica, sells clothing based on prior orders. She has been in this line of work for three and a half years. This is something she enjoys doing although she tells us that this year sales have been less compared to last year. However, this doesn’t discourage her because she always looks for sales opportunities for her products because she’s always thinking of her children’s wellbeing.
She started out in this business when she had the opportunity to save a bit of money from her previous sales job. With her daily effort she has managed to purchase a television set and a sound system. Her great dream is to own her own house.
The current loan will be used to buy stock merchandise. The group members are satisfied with the loan and wish to continue to collaborate with EDAPROSPO-PROSPERIDAD.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
