The solidarity group BOKK KOGNE was created after the inauguration of the NEMA 2 Banc Villageois where it is based. It is composed of 6 women who all come from the same neighborhood. They are organized by neighborhood and kinship. These women are very motivated and have developed a strong spirit of solidarity amongst themselves. Mrs. Caroline K. at the right in the photo is the leader of the group. She is 53 years old, married and the mother of four children. She operates a small business in seasonal fruits and has run this business for more than a decade. She buys oranges and mangos in the surrounding villages to sell in Ziguinchor and Dakar. Her goal is to increase her income, to provide for her personal needs and to contribute to the well-being of her family.

Le groupe de solidarité BOKK KOGNE est créé depuis l’inauguration du Banc Villageois qui l’abrite : NEMA2. Il est composé de 06 femmes qui sont toutes issues du même quartier. Elles se sont organisées par voisinage et par affinité. C’est des femmes très motivées et qui développent un bon esprit de solidarité entre elles.

Madame Caroline K. à droite de la photo est la responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 53 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 04 enfants.
Elle fait un petit commerce de fruits de saison. Elle mène cette activité depuis plus d’une décennie. Elle achète des oranges et des mangues dans les villages environnants pour les revendre à Ziguinchor et à Dakar.

Son objectif est d’augmenter ses revenus financiers, de prendre en charge ses besoins personnels et de participer au bien-être familial.
