This Kiva borrower is a 31-year-old married man who has one young child. In 2007, he started his own business as a farmer with eight years of previous experience. He learned this occupation from his father who also works as a farmer. He owns a large piece of land where he cultivates multiple types of fruits and vegetables according to the season. He delivers the harvest to a big vegetable market in his town and to some small markets. He is thankful for his business income and he plans to make more profit by adding more cultivation. He is requesting $1,200 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to purchase a farming machine to renovate his soil and add more seeds to expand his production.
