Meth S., 58, is widowed and resides with her five children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for quality palm products. S. stays at home. Two of her children are employed at a local garment factory, earning an income of $8 each per day to help cover the family expenses. Also, her daughter is clothes seller, earning an income of $7 per day.
S. is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more clothes for her daughter to expand her business. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
