A loan of $700 helped working capital.

Olga Virginia's story

Olga Menchú is 26 years old, and she is married. She is a seamstress, and she makes typical aprons for women. She has a shop with two machines. She lives with her son and her husband. They work in the same occupation, and they have two employees. She has worked in her house, which is in the Tzamatzam settlement, for four years.

She has had success in what she does. However, her financial situation does not suffice for her to be able to increase her capital. That is the reason she went to the Asociación ASDIR to request a loan. The loan is to buy raw material in order to be able to increase her sales. She also hopes to be able to get her son ahead and to improve his living conditions.
