Hyvonne is a married woman with one child who attends school. Her husband is a businessman, and he contributes to his family's needs. She rents a house with electricity and piped water.
She has been operating her business of distributing fresh water to her neighbors and restaurant operators for the past two years, and sells from home. With the Kshs 40,000 loan, she wants to purchase a 6000-litre water tank. The major challenge she faces in her business is seasonality. Hyvonne hopes to open another water project someday. She decided to work with Yehu because of its low interest rates and its transparency and accountability. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees.
