This group is named "Las Mariposas de la Posta". They decided to give it that name because that is the name of the neighborhood they live in and also because they are very united women. This story is about Mrs.Marisela López Hernández, who is a part of this group. She is married and has two children, a 3 year old son and a 9 year old girl. Her daughter goes to elementary school and Marisela has been selling handmade tortillas for a year.

Marisela decided to start this business out of neccesity. She wasn't financially stable enough to educate her 2 children. She decided to invest the loan in purchasing more ingredients for the torilla preparation, such as: corn and firewood, which are the most indispensable things.

Her business is benefitting her a lot since with her earnings she is able to pay for her children's education. She is also saving up to invest in a locale to be able to open a tortilla shop and provide work for the people in her community.

She wants to keep investing in the business to open her tortilla shop and she also wants to keep supporting her children so that they can keep going to school and finish their studies and have a better future.

She remarks that all of her fellow members are responsible people who make their payments. They all know each other and have no problems among themselves. She says that she is very grateful to the Kiva lenders and to FRAC, since thanks to them she is getting ahead and has been able to have her own business, and support her children's educations.
