Jonathan is a member of the Uwo group in Faulu Kenya, a Kiva partner. He is 39 years old and married. He has been doing welding for 10 years and makes window frames, grills and metallic gates. He also does farming together with his wife to earn extra income.
He previously serviced two loans through the Uwo group. This made his business expand and he has employed two people. He has requested a loan of 75,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) to buy scrap metals for making his products. He hopes to expand his business so as to meet his customers’ demand.
