Don Hermes is 50 years old, married, and has five children. He operates a dairy and also sells firewood to bakeries. There are other customers for whom he provides firewood in order to power their ovens for making “chipas” (cheese bread).

Se dedica al tambo (venta de leche) y venta de leña para chiperia, posee una clientela formada a quienes en forma diaria les hace entrega la leche de acuerdo a la necesidad de cada cliente, por otro lado clientes que se dedican a la chapería a quienes les provee leña para el horneado de sus chipas.
Esta actividad es la fuente con el cual crio a sus hijos, con que cubre los gastos básicos de la familia y también en algunos casos cubre los gastos del colegio de sus hijos que aún están en etapa de colegio.
