A loan of $1,150 helped purchase a dairy cow.

Hermes's story

Don Hermes is 50 years old, married, and has five children. He operates a dairy and also sells firewood to bakeries. Hermes has an established clientele to whom he delivers milk on a daily basis according to the needs of each customer. There are other customers for whom he provides firewood in order to power their ovens for making “chipas” (cheese bread).

This business is the means by which he is able to support his children and cover basic family expenses. It also helps him to cover the educational expenses of his children who are still in high school. He is requesting a loan to buy another dairy cow so that he can increase the quantity of milk that he sells.
