Philis is a 41-year-old married lady who spends most of her time on her farm. She does dairy farming together with other members of the Gathiruini B group of Faulu Kenya. The group members share business ideas such as new farming methods and new markets. Above all, the group members guarantee each other’s loans.
Philis has requested a loan of Kes 50,000 to buy a dairy cow for better milk production. She hopes to become a large-scale farmer in the future.
