Beatrice
Born in 1960, Beatrice Sirri is married to Mr Lucas C. and they are blessed with seven children one of which is below the age of 15. She has faced so many challenges as a woman, like when the cold hands of death took her sister away and when she finds it difficult to assist her husband in paying for their children’s education and providing for the basic needs of their children.

The inability to get enough investment capital which would give her higher income to meet her children’s and family's needs motivated her to obtain a loan from GHAPE. She has successfully obtained and repaid loans from GHAPE seven times.

She thinks the business will succeed once she has expanded her farm land and seed trading business. With her loan, she plans to buy seeds and pay for her cultivable land to be cleared. The profit obtained from this investment will assist her husband in paying for their children’s education and basic needs and the rest will be ploughed back into the business.
