Parveen lives in the historic city called Lahore which is famous for its gardens and its culture in all of Pakistan. She is the mother of five children: four sons and a daughter.
None of them were able to get their education due to poor financial conditions, but now things are a bit different because three of her sons have started doing work to support the family. Two of them make shoes and other is involved in Punjabi food-selling business.
Parveen has applied for a loan from Asasah for her husband who sells fruit in the fruit market. With the loan amount, he will buy fruit in bulk which will help him make more income as the result of the availability of more stock and more fruit variety.
Parveen hopes that with the help of increased profit she will be able to send her youngest son to school as he is still just 7 years of age, and her family's financial problems will be solved.
