Aracely Judith
Aracely Judith Roció Vásquez sells phone minutes. She wants to buy a cellular phone plan and a photocopier for her business. For this reason, she is requesting a loan from Fundaciòn Mario Santo Domingo in the amount of 800,000 COP. Aracely started her business three years ago in order to generate an income. She borrowed 300,000 COP from a friend at an interest rate of 15% so that she could start selling cell phone minutes and renting phone booths. With this money, she bought her first two cell phone plans, a table, and a chair to begin her operation. She also bought candy to take advantage of potential sales since many people pass by her location.

Aracely has been a member of Fundaciòn Mario Santo Domingo for nine months. From that moment, her life changed for the better because she was able to relieve herself of high interest loans and channel more of her money into improving her income. She dreams of having a prosperous business and adding other services such as Internet and photocopying. Aracely continues to look for other ways to generate revenue so that she can move her one-month-old son forward and provide him a better future.

Being a young woman, Aracely appears to not have any problems. She is eager to continue working and looking for opportunities to help her become successful over time.
