Lilibeth P., 39 years old, is a married woman from the town of Sta. Josefa. She has 3 young children. She is a farmer and has been planting rice for over five years now. She sells her harvest at her town's market. Her husband helps her maintain their farm. She also runs a sari-sari store located at their house. She sells vinegar, sugar, and other daily basic needs her neighbors usually look for.
Lilibeth joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Lilibeth has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Lilibeth is requesting a new loan of 15,000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers, seeds and other farm inputs. This loan will be the eighth loan taken out by Lilibeth from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement her family's income.
