54-year-old Flordeliza S. is a married woman from the town of Banga. She has two children, aged 25 and 22. She has been engaged in farming for more than ten years now. Her income comes from planting and harvesting rice for sale. She says that she dreams of being a successful businesswoman someday. She also dreams that her children's future will be a bright one.
Flordeliza joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Flordeliza is requesting a loan of 6000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. This will be the first loan taken out by Flordeliza from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
