Maria Cleofe
Maria Cleofe is from Ayacucho. She is a 51 year old married woman with four children; three are living on their own and one is still dependent on her. Currently, she has a cook and an employee who help her with the work. Some days she delivers meals to construction sites. Maria Cleofe is a member of the “Kantu” communal bank and is requesting the loan to buy more supplies such as rice, sugar, noodles, etc. Her dream is to open a restaurant near the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.

Maria Cleofe tiene 51 años, es natural de Ayacucho, es casada y tiene cuatro hijos de la cuales tres son independientes y uno todavía depende de ella. Su actividad económica principal de María Cleofe es vender comida en su propio restaurante que se llama “Tres Marias” que está ubicado en el barrio de Luis Vallejo Santoni del distrito de Santiago. (El distrito de Santiago de la ciudad del Cusco es uno de los sitios donde los pobladores son de bajos recursos pero se las ingenian para tener sus propios negocios). Ya son 25 años que se dedica a este tipo de negocio. El trabajo comienza a las 5 de la mañana donde empieza a preparar la comida para las horas del desayuno, del almuerzo y de la cena. Termina su trabajo a las 9 de la noche todos los días. Ella actualmente tiene una cocinera y una empleada que le ayudan con el trabajo. Hay días en que la socia lleva comida a las obras de construcción.

Maria Cleofe pertenece al banco comunal “Kantu” y requiere el préstamo para comprar más insumos como por ejemplo arroz, azúcar, fideos, etc. El sueño de la socia es abrir un restaurante cerca a la Plaza de Armas de la ciudad del Cusco.
