Loise has operated her retail shop in Naivasha town for the last 11 years. She sells basic household items like plastic basins and dry foodstuffs such as wheat flour, maize flour, sugar and salt. She is a widow aged 43 years old and has four school-going children.
Loise was introduced to KADET by her friend and this will be her third loan from KADET. She plans to use the loan proceeds to increase her shop's stock of maize and wheat flour, rice and sugar.
Apart from retail, Loise is also hoping to move into wholesale in the future.
