Lisette has a restaurant called "Vallery" on her daughter's honor, she has 4 kids who are her biggest incentive, when she was single she used to work as a hostess and was very good at sales, once she got married her husband decided to open a restaurant as there was an offer of a place with all the equipment. That is how they started selling lunch and their menu had very good acceptance, in the future they want to improve their place using all the space on the first floor.
Unfortunately they had troubles this year as one of their kids got sick and is undergoing medical treatment, and his condition is improving, with the loan they will be able to buy food supplies for the restaurant and improve it, Lisette is the treasurer of the group called "Road to Success" and belongs to the group for the last past year.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
