Annet is married with six children who are all at school. She also looks after other family members.
She has been running her business for ten years. She plans to use the loan to buy more jerrycans of local gin. She operates her business as a wholeseller and her customers are local people and owners of bars. Annet buys jerrycans of local gin from the Kyenjojo and Kasese districts in Southwestern Uganda . She earns additional income from house rentals. She works six days a week.
She depends on this job to make a living. Her main business challenges include transportation and seasonality. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and food.
Annet lives in her own four roomed house. The family has access to electricity and piped water.
