The borrowing group "Sope Erigne Fallou" of the NDOFFENE1 Village Bank consists of 11 women, all from the same village. They created their group through links of kinship and affinity after the establishment of their Village Bank in 2007. In the group are women of different ages (between 35 and 50). They are all married and mothers of at least 3 children. Their main activities are beef fattening and/or sheep fattening. As a secondary activity they have small local grain businesses. The proximity of the weekly markets facilitates the sales of their products.
The head of the group is Mrs. Nar N., standing in the right of the photo in the full yellow robe with flowers. She is 58; married and a mother of 7 children. She fattens sheep and sells millet and groundnut oil that she prepares by hand. Her new loan will allow her to strengthen her business in order to obtain more earnings which will contribute to the improvement of her family's living conditions, such as food and health.

Le groupe de solidarité « SOPE ERIGNE FALLOU » du Banc Villageois deNDOFFENE1 est composé de 11 femmes toutes issues du même village. Elles ont créé leur groupe de solidarité par liens de parenté et d’affinité depuis la mise en place de leur Banc Villageois en 2007. Dans le groupe on trouve des femmes d’âges différents (entre 35 et 50 ans), elles sont toutes mariées et mères d’au moins de 3 enfants. Elles ont comme activités principale l’embouche bovine et/ou ovine. Et comme activité secondaire elle font du petit commerce de céréales locales. La proximité des marchés hebdomadaire leur facilite l’écoulement de leurs produits.

Elle fait de l’embouche ovine et vend du mil et de l’huile d’arachide qu’elle prépare de ses mains. Son nouveau prêt lui permettra de renforcer son activité afin de se procurer de plus de bénéfices qui contribueront à l’amélioration des conditions de vie de sa famille, par exemple la nourriture et la santé.
