María Angelina
Angelina, 30, is married and they have 4 children. Her husband is out of the country and sends her economic support. Angelina works to give her daughters an education so that they will be professionals one day. She sells comales [brick dishes for making tortillas] on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays in the local San Martin Jilotepeque market. She also sells chickens and at the same time she embroiders and sells traditional aprons.
She is requesting this loan to invest in purchasing more comales, as on the days when she does not go to the market she sells in her home, since people already know her and know where she lives. She also wants to buy concentrate for her animals. She dreams of having her own store.
