Dung T. N. was born in 1977. She is a farmer and has two children (a son and a girl) who are going to school. Now she raises 25 pigs and makes wine. Her husband is a mechanic worker.
They have a monthly income of about 5,000,000 Vietnamese Dong (VND). This is the first time she has participated in SEDA. She needs 5,014,000 VND to invest in livestock and buy rice to make wine.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
