María Lourdes is head of her household. With a lot of effort and dedication she has been successful in moving her five children ahead. Four of them are now working on their own, leaving her daughter under her care, who helps her with the business.

She opened her restaurant at a site in a local market in Chinandega about five months, which she rents for $50. She started with little capital, a makeshift kitchen and two wood tables. Thank to a loan by CEPRODEL the place's infrastructure and working conditions have improved, and she has been able to purchase an adequate kitchen.

María Lourdes has her heart set on providing her children with everything within her reach. Before starting her own business, she trained people on cooking and pastry making. Currently, her restaurant makes an average of $110 per day.

María Lourdes es jefa de familia; con mucho esfuerzo y dedicación ha logrado impulsar a sus cinco hijos hacia adelante, ya cuatro de ellos trabajan quedando así solo una hija a su cargo, la cual le ayuda en su negocio.

El mismo nace en las instalaciones del mercado EL BISNE en el departamento de Chinandega hace aproximadamente 5 meses, local que alquila en US$50.00. Inicio con poco capital, apenas una cocina casera y dos mesas de madera. Gracias al crédito otorgado por CEPRODEL la infraestructura del lugar y las condiciones laborales han mejorado, ya que ha podido comprar una cocina adecuada para el negocio.

María Lourdes ha sido una mujer que ha puesto su empeño en darles a sus hijos todo lo que este a su alcance, anteriormente a su negocio propio se dedicaba a dar capacitación en el área de cocina y repostería. Actualmente ella vende diario un promedio de US$110.00
