Gawlo D., 70, is a widow and the mother of 10 children, among whom she is still responsible for six; four of those attend school. She has been a member of the Banc Villageois of BAYOUF-PALAL since March 15, 1998 (i.e., for 12 years). She sells firewood and her new loan will allow her to bolster this little business.

Gawlo D. has a lot of experience in her field and the profit she has made has allowed her to buy a plot of land which she would like to put to good use by building a permanent house on it. Her short-term objective is to help her children to achieve a bright tomorrow by ensuring their continued schooling.
