Enayat K. is a married woman from Gaza City in Gaza Strip. She is 28 years old and has 3 sons and one daughter. Enayat's husband, Ziyad, is an employee of the Palestinian National Authority. His salary barely covers their household expenses, so Enayat started another business to help her husband afford the expenses of their large family.
Enayat and her husband rented a small store and started a mini-market where she sells the basics to people in the neighborhood. To increase the benefits of her business, Enayat came to FATEN to take a $2,000 loan to purchase goods. Enayat works in the mini-market as does her husband when he comes back from his work in the evenings.
Ziyad appears in the picture in front of the goods they sell in the mini-market because his wife is conservative.
