Edwin
Edwin P., 45 years old, is from the town of Banga. He is married and has a 26-year-old child. To make a living, Edwin owns and operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means of generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Edwin has been engaged in his business for over 22 years and earns approximately 5000 PHP a month from these activities.

Edwin joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Edwin is requesting a new loan of 6000 PHP which will be used to purchase seeds, fertilizers and other farm inputs. This loan will be the first loan taken out by Edwin from CEVI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement the family's income.
