Fatmeh
Fatmeh, 26-years old, lives with her parents and younger brothers in the little village of Jal El Bahar, close to Tyr, South Lebanon. She is employed in a small "lingerie" shop and earns limited wages of $200 per month. Fatmeh is the main breadwinner of the family, because her father, a daily worker, does not have a regular income. This month, she will use her last year's savings to pay for her brother's school fees and stationery. But Fatmeh needs medical treatment and lacks the funds to cover this unexpected expense. She is requesting a loan for $500 to cover these medical expenses.
