Sarah is married with five children and all her children go to school. She resides in and owns a five-room house. Her home acts as the Center meeting place. She owns a charcoal store at home in Kisaasi central zone and sells to all categories of people. She wants to use this loan to buy more bags of charcoal. She buys bags of charcoal from her home and doesn’t incur any transport costs. She has been in this business for a long time. Sarah works seven days a week. She aspires to educate her children up to university and start investing in second hand clothes. She joined MCDT because it was helping poor women. The family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
