Mr. Moctar Koné, 29, is married and lives in a monogamous family with his two children and his wife, in the West district of Kolondièba in the third region (Sikasso) of the Republic of Mali.

Mr. Moctar stocks and resells cereals to earn his living and has been doing this for several years. Wishing to lift himself out of poverty, he joined the credit program of Soro Yiriwaso, opting for an individual loan for stocking and selling cereals. He is on his fourth loan, after having reimbursed the three preceding loans.

With this new loan, he intends to buy 400 kg of peanuts and 1000 kg of millet which he will stockpile for sale at the period where the price is higher. He buys his grains at the market of Kolondièba on market days and sells to wholesalers coming from Sikasso and Bamako. He hopes to make an average monthly profit of 60,000 F CFA.

He intends to make his business prosper by varying the items he sells so as to make more sales in the days to come. His profit will be reinvested in his business.

Monsieur Moctar Koné est un homme marié de 29 ans qui vit dans une famille monogame avec ses deux enfants et son épouse dans le quartier Ouest de Kolondièba dans la troisième région (Sikasso) de la République du Mali.
Monsieur Moctar fait comme activité génératrice de revenu l’achat stockage vente de céréales depuis maintenant plusieurs années.
Pour mieux alléger sa pauvreté, il adhéra au programme crédit de Soro Yiriwaso en optant pour le prêt individuel de stockage et commercialisation de céréales. Il est à son quatrième cycle après avoir bien remboursés les trois prêts précédents.
Avec ce nouveau prêt, il compte avoir 400 kilogrammes de grains d’arachide, 1000 kilogrammes de mil qu’il stockera pour revendre à la période où le cours est plus élevé.
Il s’approvisionne sur le marché de Kolondièba les jours de foire et revendra aux grossistes venant de Sikasso et Bamako.
Il espère réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 60.000 FCFA
Il compte faire prospérer son commerce en faisant varier ses articles pour réaliser un chiffre d’affaire plus élevé dans les jours à venir. Le bénéfice sera investi dans l’entreprise.
