Oy K., 28, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkor Wat temples. She sells snacks at home for an income of about US $6 per day. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver in town, earning an income of US $6 per day to help cover the family expenses. K. is requesting a loan of US $1000 to buy a new motorbike for her husband, and she would like to invest the remainder in her current business of selling snacks. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
