Chun L., 27, is single and resides with her family in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkor Wat temples. She is a singer, earning an income of about US $7 per day. Her brother is a waiter at a hotel, earning an income of US $4 per day to help cover the family expenses. L. is requesting a loan of US $1000 to buy a motorbike to commute to work and wood to repair the house. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to open a food shop. This is her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
