Born around 1968 in Sikasso, Mr. Mamadou B. is married and lives with his wife and their children, in a large traditional extended household, in Sanoubougou I, one of the boroughs on the outskirts of Sikasso (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

Mr. Mamadou B. unsuccessfully tried his hand at different activities, then began raising poultry since 2006. He owns a farm not far from Sikasso where he raises hundreds of fowl (chickens, guinea fowl, geese, turkeys, pigeons, etc. He is highly regarded by his customers for the quality of his poultry that are well controlled by qualified veterinarians.

Wanting to satisfy an ever-increasing customer base, he decided to join the Soro Yiriwaso MFI, and is now requesting his first personal loan, which will enable him to buy medication and chicken feed.

He hopes to reach monthly earnings of 150,000 FCFA which will be used essentially to increase his working capital, contribute to family expenses, and pay off his loan.

Né vers 1968 à Sikasso, Monsieur Mamadou B. est marié et réside avec son épouse et leurs enfants dans une grande famille traditionnelle élargie à Sanoubougou I, un des quartiers populaires de la ville de Sikasso (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Monsieur Mamadou B., après avoir mené plusieurs activités sans succès, s’est initié au domaine de l’aviculture depuis l’année 2006.
Il dispose d’une une ferme non loin de la ville de Sikasso où il y a des centaines de tête d’oiseaux (poulets, pintades, oies, dindons, pigeons, etc.)
Il est beaucoup sollicité de sa clientèle pour la qualité de ses volailles qui sont de bonnes qualités et bien suivis par des vétérinaires qualifiés.
Pour satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, il décide de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui il est à son premier prêt individuel qui lui permettra d’acheter, des médicaments et nourritures pour la base cour.
Avec ce prêt il envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 150 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé essentiellement pour augmenter son fonds de commerce, contribuer aux dépenses familiales et payer les intérêts de son prêt.
