Damaso
Damaso is a dairy producer. This activity is the main source of the income he uses to support his family. His home is located in the community of Tahari-Achacachi, in Omasuyos Province, two and a half hours from the city of El Alto.

He will use the loan to buy a dairy cow, in order to increase his milk production.

This is his third loan with IMPRO; his excellent payment record qualified him to apply for another loan.

Damaso es productor lechero. Esta actividad es su principal fuente de ingreso con lo que cubre la manutención de su familia. Su domicilio esta ubicado en la comunidad de Tahari – Achacachi Prov. Omasuyos a 2 horas y media de la ciudad de El Alto.

El préstamo lo destinará para la compra de una vaca lechera para incrementar su producción de leche.

Es su tercer crédito con IMPRO, el buen comportamiento de pago le permite solicitar otro préstamo.

About IMPRO

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
