Lucy Njoki K. is 49 years old. She is married to Jackson K. and a mother of three children who are currently in school. Lucy is a farmer and she has been farming her own land for the last twenty years. She learned about KADET from other women who are already registered clients.
This will be her second loan of which she is planning to spend fifty thousand shillings to plant more maize which normally does well in her area due to good climatic conditions. She is planning to use the other thirty thousand shillings to buy a dairy cow. She hopes to use the profit from the proceeds of this loan to expand her farming activities from small-scale to commercial farming.
Lucy's dream is do large-scale farming and attain financial independence. She is a hard-working woman who is determined to achieve her goals.
