Janery Del Carmen
Janery, age 34, lives in the municipality of La Libertad with her two children and her husband Luis Alvarez. The elder daughter Hermida is 16 and is a third-year high-school student; the younger Danyeli is two years old.

For 17 years, Janery has been working as a teacher for the Ministry of Education of La Liberdad, in the Rafaela Herrera school, located in the Cosmatillo community. Janery's husband is a construction worker, and he works out of town because where they live there isn't much available work; he sends her money to cover household expenses.

Janery is seeking her sixth loan which will be used to make improvements in her home; she is installing a drain and would like to finish it before the winter comes.

Janery's biggest dream is that her family would have everything they need, and that her daughters would study and grow up to become good people.
