Mohamed S. is a trader who sells along one of the main business streets in Makeni. He started with sales of cigarettes and later moved to plastic slippers.
He is married to a trader and they have four children who all attend school. He has 30 years of business experience and needs a loan to buy plastic slippers from the neighbouring country of Guinea.
He hopes to use the proceeds to educate his children and build on to his house.
