Carlos Z. has a shop with six machines for making t-shirts. He has worked as a tailor for six years. He and his wife work in the same field, and their son does as well. Thanks to this work they have been able to get ahead and have a better quality of life.

Don Carlos Z., cuenta con un Taller de 6 Máquinas para Confeccionar Palayeras, lleva 6 años de trabajar en la Sastrería él y su esposa laboran para el mismo oficio como también su hijo en donde gracias a ello los ha podido sacar adelante dándoles una mejor calidad de vida y así poder obtener mejores ingresos y poder aumentar su capital ya que su numero de su clientela a aumentado por lo que nos solita su préstamo para dicha Artesanía, su residencia es en el Paraje Chichaclan del Cantón Paquí, Totonicapán.

ASDIR (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral Rural - Association for the Development of Rural Communities) is a community-based organization that works to promote development in the villages and communities where it serves. It was founded in 1999 in the village of Nimasac, Totonicapán Department, by a handful of local men and women to support community projects and group loans. Today ASDIR has 5 offices across 3 departments (Totonicapán, Sololá and Suchitepéquez) serving more than 6,000 clients, most of them in rural communities.
