Mrs. Lach S., 41, lives with her husband and six children in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She works on her farmland growing vegetables and usually earns around $1.60 per day in profit from selling her output at a nearby market. Her husband works as a teacher, earning only a meager income but fortunately, three of her children are employed at a garment factory. The rest attend school. Mrs. Lach S. hopes to use this loan to purchase fertilizer and seeds to expand her cultivation of crops to sell.
