Dolores is 43 years old. She has 4 children - 22, 18, 16 and 12 years old. She alternates her activities in her home with her door to door phonecall service business, lending mobile phones and landlines. She deposits the money she earns in the bank and lives off the interest. Dolores recharges her 3 personal mobiles and rents them out at 50 céntimos per minute to all national destinations.
The other members mainly work with mobile to mobile calls, and landline calls from mobile phones. They are a group of friends who have the same purpose. One member, Gabriel, arrived after the photo was taken because he had permission and arrived late to the bank. For this reason he isn't in this photo.
The members are thankful for the loan and promise to continue meeting their debt repayments within the established time period.

Nuestros otros socios se dedican en su mayoría a las llamadas de celular a celular y a las llamadas fijas desde celulares, son un grupo de amigos que tienen el mismo rubro. Nuestro socio el Sr Gabriel llegó después de la foto porque tenía permiso y llego atrasado al banco por lo que no aparece en este grupo.
Los socios agradecen el préstamo y se comprometen a seguir cumpliendo con el pago de sus deudas en el tiempo establecido.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
