Mom P., 50, is widowed and resides with two children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for clay and ceramic products. She produces baskets for sale for an income of about USD 2 per day. Her daughter is employed at a local garment factory, earning an income of USD 3 per day to help cover the family expenses.
P. is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a motorbike for the family use. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia. P. is pictured with her daughter and son-in-law here.
