Eat O. is 40 years old and lives with her husband in Takeo province. She and her husband together raise and sell pigs for a profit of US$4 a day. The couple has five children living at home to support. Every month, Eat O. spends about US$45 on food, US$7 on utilities, US$35 on transportation and US$40 on miscellaneous expenses. To earn more money, Eat O. would like to take out a loan of US$1000 so that she can raise more pigs.
